Plot: MILK, a tender, wild and uplifting short film which explores infant food poverty through the journey of a young single mother's mission to secure milk formula for her baby.
For this project our team were tasked with creating a practical effect to simulate breast milk spraying out of lead actress Tia Bannon's clothing. The reference for this effect was a fountain based in Italy. Our team 3d modelled and printed some spray nozzles that could be concealed in the actress' clothing with micro elastic bands and then connected to a pressure sprayer. The effect was absolutely spectacular.
